Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic (provost@ufv.ca) and include:
- Application form, including budget, with Dean or Director's signature.
- Evidence of faculty commitment: A memorandum of commitment to the proposal from all significant contributors, including one from the faculty member or members assuming fiscal, administrative, and intellectual responsibility for the project, specifying the level of involvement to which he/she is prepared to commit.
- Evidence of departmental support: A memorandum of support from the applicant’s department head or equivalent immediate supervisor.
- Statement of external support: If relevant, all applicants must state if they anticipate any additional support (e.g. funding, volunteer, research, etc.), and whether or not they are applying for or have been approved for a scholarly activity or research option (ROSA) in the same year as the FIT application.
