Conflict Of Interest

No employee of the University shall engage in or have a financial interest, directly or indirectly, in any activity that conflicts or raises a reasonable question of conflict with his duties and responsibilities.

No employee shall sell or assist in the sale of instructional services, supplies, or equipment within or to the University and shall not furnish lists of students or staff to anyone selling such services or materials. The Purchasing Division is prohibited from acquiring supplies or equipment directly or indirectly from any employee of the University.

Declaration Of Conflict of Interest

Employees shall disclose to their respective supervisor any potential conflict of interest of which they are aware related to any purchase of goods or services. This form is intended for those persons who are disclosing their own conflict of interest, whether real, perceived or potential. All purchases where a conflict of interest may exist are subject to review by the Purchasing Department. Please review UFV's Conflict of Interest Policy (142) prior to making a purchase.

A Declaration of Conflict of Interest Form must be submitted to Purchasing for review prior to making a purchase. You will be contacted in writing of the final decision if the purchase can proceed.
