Chuck Charles Biography

I spent 37 years working as a school administrator in the Chilliwack School district. I have also taught in the University of the Fraser Valley Teacher Education Program for the past six years. In the Teacher Education Program, I have taught courses in Language Arts, Mental Health and Special Needs, School Governance, and Best Practices in Teaching and Learning. I have also acted as a Faculty Mentor to numerous teacher candidates annually and have worked with students in that capacity from Kindergarten to grade 12.

I am a life-long learner and very interested in working with teacher candidates, and teaching them how to become successful and dedicated teachers.

I have lived in Chilliwack with my wife of 41 years and have 4 children and 6 granddaughters. I am currently chair of Secondary Characters Musical Theatre society, enjoy travelling, and relaxing at our summer home on Shuswap Lake.
