Teacher Education Information Seminars

Are you thinking about a teaching career? If you are in your first, second, or third year of your undergradute program and you are thinking of entering the Bachelor of Education at UFV, we recommend that you attend one of the TE Seminars.

  • Find out if a teaching career in elementary, middle, or secondary school is for you
  • Learn about the educational pathways available at UFV
  • Learn about academic requirements and relevant extra-curricular experience
  • Hear about certification requirements in BC
  • Discover career prospects

The seminars are generally 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. There will be time left at the end of the seminar for attendees who may have some individual questions.

There is a specific application seminar hosted on December 5th at 4:30pm, room B132. This is an optional seminar only for applicants to the 2018 BEd admission cycle. It will include information about the application process, time lines, and documents required.
