First semester: Walk the walk of active, experiential learning
This introductory course explores teaching methods that support adult learning, as well as experiential and active learning principles. Indigenous learning and reflective practice are also threaded throughout the course.
Second semester: Building the path to student success
Apply curriculum alignment principles to course design, instructional design (lesson planning), and assessment design. Indigenous learning is also threaded throughout the course, as well as learner diversity, English Language Learning (ELL), and academic integrity.
