Biography

Michelle advises students in the Upgrading and University Preparation program. She assists students in completing Adult Graduation, (the Dogwood) and upgrading for university programs or employment. Having been at UFV for over 20 years, as a student and working for the International and Upgrading departments, she is familiar with many aspects of the post-secondary education system.

As a mature student Michelle started at UCFV earning her Social Services Diploma and Degree in Adult Education. She has recently completed her Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of South Dakota. Michelle believes in lifelong learning and persistence in reaching educational goals. Her interests include international travel, cycling, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

If you are a domestic student, Adult Basic Education and English Language Studies courses are tuition-free. And you may qualify for a grant to cover other costs.
