Bachelor of Business Administration for Agriculture Management

The BBA for Agriculture Management provides individuals with the ability to leverage their prior learning (Agriculture Technology diploma) and to augment prior learning with the fundamentals of business management theories and practices. Students will be required to successfully complete the bridging courses prior to beginning Semester five.

Entrance requirements

  1. Completion of the UFV Agriculture Technology diploma with a grade point average of at least 2.67 (B- average at UFV) or a comparable two-year diploma in agriculture from a recognized post-secondary institution will be assessed on an individual basis.
  2. 2 years work experience.

Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement. For details on how this requirement may be met, see English language proficiency requirement section of the calendar.

Note: Students who complete these requirements will be admitted conditional upon completion of the bridging courses.

Additional documents required for a complete application:
Official transcripts (or interim transcripts) of all post-secondary institutions attended showing grade/course achievement as per program entrance requirements. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to UFV from the originating institution; see the Transfer Credit section for details.
Resume or other documentation showing two years of work experience.

Program requirements

Students must meet the general requirements of the Bachelor of Business Administration. A 2.67 cumulative grade point average in Semesters V-VIII is required in order to graduate.
