English Language Requirements

Students registering in post-secondary level courses (numbered 100 to 499) will be required to meet the English language entrance proficiency requirements. Students in ESL or the University Foundations programs can register in those courses identified in the University Foundations program with lower levels of language proficiency.

3 credits

Portfolio I

Prerequisite(s): 45 university-level credits.

Development of a reflective e-portfolio and related tools that build from work completed within academic and professional settings. Self-assessment of one’s progress towards meeting program learning outcomes and personal learning goals.

PORT 399

3 credits

Portfolio II

Prerequisite(s): 90 university-level credits, including one of the following: PORT 398, ARTS 401, or ADED 305.

Development of a professional e-portfolio (adapted from previous portfolio work) and related tools for future professional or academic engagement. Final assessment and reflection of one’s summative experiences within their degree program.
