ufv.ca/swhs

UFV's School of Social Work and Human Services offers education at several levels. The Master of Social Work degree focuses on social justice, anti-oppressive practice, and leadership and supervision, in the areas of children and families, health, or mental health. The Bachelor of Social Work degree prepares students for generalist social work practice, and can be obtained with a Child Welfare specialization. The Social Service Worker diploma prepares students for work at the para-professional level in the social services field (also available with an Indigenous focus), and the Social Service Worker certificate prepares students to work in community-based social service settings.
