Meet our faculty & sessional instructors

Dr. Mai Anh Doan is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Fraser Valley, Canada. She started her career as a journalist and worked as a Public Relations manager for multinationals before moving to university teaching and corporate training specializing in communication.

She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate students in Vietnam, New Zealand and Canada.

Mai Anh obtained her PhD in Management Communication from the Waikato School of Management, University of Waikato, New Zealand and Master of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Technology Sydney. She is is an active communication researcher in public relations and higher education, who has also published articles in Public Relations Review.
