Book Your Workshop/Seminar
We know that starting a new life in Canada can be challenging, especially when getting accustomed to a new language, a new culture, and different laws. To help you get settled, UFV is offering a series of Immigration workshops at the Abbotsford campus.
Work/Study Permit workshops will answer all your questions about study permit/work permit terms and conditions, Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), inviting family members, study permit amendment, Designated Learning Institution (DLI) transfer to UFV, the different types of work permits (including PGWP), Immigration rules on academic standing and non-study and how to schedule a break at UFV.
Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) workshop will highlight the process at UFV, eligibility requirements and what you need to know as you have limited time to apply for the full time work permit.
Please email your immigration-related questions to john.fernando@ufv.ca (include your student number and contact details).
Are you thinking about a teaching career? If you are in the first, second, or third year of your undergraduate program and you are thinking of entering the Bachelor of Education at UFV, we recommend that you attend one of the Teacher Education information seminars.
