BC Graduate Scholarships
The Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training has provided one-time funding to support graduate scholarships. UFV has received matching private donations to double the number of awards available. Nominations for these $15,000 awards are submitted by each Graduate Program Committee to the Financial Aid and Awards office. Recipient criteria include a 3.5 GPA in the last 2 years of study; Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status; and admission to a UFV graduate degree program.
The Soroptimist Foundation of Canada annually offers several $7,500 grants to female graduate students in Canada to assist them with university studies which will qualify them for careers which will improve the quality of women's lives. Completed applications and all required additional documents must be received no later than January 31st to be considered.
