- UFV is a comprehensive university serving the Fraser Valley with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Canada Education Park, Mission, and regional centres in Hope and Agassiz.
- Currently, UFV has an enrolment of around 15,500 students and offers 15 bachelor's degrees, one applied master's degree, a post-graduate teacher education certificate, a new post-graduate certificate in program evaluation, and more than 80 certificate and diploma programs in applied and academic areas, including trades.
- UFV offers Canada’s first Master of Arts in Criminal Justice.

- In 2009/10, the UFV individual student count (including Continuing Studies) was 15,446, including approximately 13,000 mainly undergraduate students.
- UFV produced 8116.7 Full Time Equivalent enrolments in 2009/10, including domestic, international and continuing studies enrolments. UFV exeeded the Ministry of Higher Education and Labour Market Development's funded target for 2009/10 of 6,859 student spaces by 104%.
- 1,829 credentials were conferred in 2009; a 5% increase over the previous year.
- 95% of former UFV students who completed a diploma, associate degree or a certificate indicated that they were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with the education they received at UFV; 98% of UFV students stated the quality of their instruction in their program was "very good" to "good"; and 92% assessed that knowledge gained at UFV ‘very useful’ or ‘useful’ in performing their current jobs.
- 98% of former UFV students who completed a baccalaureate degree indicated that they were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with the education they received at UFV; 99% of UFV graduates stated the quality of their instruction in their program was "very good" to "good"; and 93% assessed that knowledge gained at UFV ‘very useful’ or ‘useful’ in performing their current jobs.
