Safety & Security Announcements
New Online Courses from UFV Safety & Security
UFV’s Safety & Security team is working hard to improve the availability of safety and emergency preparedness information for staff and students. Over the summer they have developed a series of online courses available through UFV myClass. The courses are aimed at increasing the awareness of staff and students of important information that will help them to stay safe at UFV. These courses include:

- Basic WHMIS
- Emergency Response Procedures
- Active Threat Training
For Employees
- Basic WHMIS
- WHMIS 2015
- Emergency Response Procedures
- Active Threat Training
- Floor Warden Training
These courses can be taken at any time throughout the year and are fee of charge. If you have any difficulty registering, please contact Safety & Security at safetysecurity@ufv.ca
Access Instructions
- Log into UFV myClass
- Navigate to the “Courses” tab on the left-hand side
- Click on the “Course Catalog” and search for the course you wish to take
- Select the correct course and “Enroll”
Request to Serve Liquor
We are excited to announce a new Request to Serve Liquor process.
There is no need to fill out a PDF form anymore.
If you wish to hold an event serving liquor, please submit an Event Application Form and attach all of the documents required.

A Special Event Permit is also required from BC Liquor Distribution branch
