Sale of Chilliwack
UFV is migrating its existing university programming on the Yale Road Campus (the “Site”) to the new Canada Education Park in Sardis. The lands of the Yale Road Campus no longer form part of UFV’s long-term capital plans and UFV has decided to sell this surplus property.
The university will retain use of the Performance Theatre at the Site for approximately five years (see details below). Remaining lands and improvements at the Site are anticipated to be sold for redevelopment.
UFV’s preferred transaction structure is a cash-on-closing sale based upon the value of the land and buildings, however UFV will consider a variety of redevelopment arrangements with prospective buyers.
