Once again the Visual Arts department at UCFV will launch the new year with an exhibition by faculty members in the program.

Work by seven instructors, all working artists in addition to their teaching roles at UCFV, will be on display during the Visual Arts faculty art show. The show runs January 9-22, from 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. in the UCFV Art Gallery (Room B136) on the Abbotsford campus.

"This year's show profiles the diversity and the accomplishment of recent work by both instructors and staff that make up the team behind the department," says program head Don Murray. "These faculty members are practicing artists with broad educational backgrounds and exhibition experience. The annual UCFV Faculty Art exhibition is a unique and exciting opportunity to share recent studio production with students, UCFV-at-large, and the Fraser Valley community."

The exhibition features work in several media including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture and ceramics. The artists represented are Davida Kidd, Michael Laver, Toni Latour, Don Murray, Bruce Pashak, Pat Taddy, and Grace Tsurumaru.
