High school artists to exhibit at UCFV

The UCFV Visual Arts department is presenting works by talented art students from high schools of the Fraser Valley region, with the hopes of providing a bridge between high school and university art education. It also provides high school students with an opportunity to prepare for juried exhibitions. The paintings, photographs, and 3-D works will showcase the creative talents of Grade 11 and 12 students from these participating schools: Walnut Grove, D.W. Poppy, Langley, Chilliwack Senior, Rick Hansen, MEI, Abbotsford Senior, Robert Bateman, Heritage Park, and W.J. Mouat. The public is welcome to join UCFV in celebrating the work of these young artists and the efforts of their teachers. A special opening will be held at 7 pm on Monday, Nov 29.
