Life-long Learning After 50!
To provide adults over the age of 50 with access to educational and learning opportunities for the purpose of enriching life and expanding knowledge.
Ways to register:
You may register in person on Registration Day, Tuesday, September 15 from 3:00 to 4:00, or a friend may do so on your behalf. Attendees at this event may register themselves and one other person. Our volunteers can stand in line on behalf of those with mobility challenges. You may also register by mail using the form on this brochure; however, registrations received before Registration Day will be processed after registration day. Placement is secured by payment. After registration day, registration continues at the office or by mail until courses begin.

Retired but not tired? Want to keep your mind engaged and continue learning new things? Based at the UFV Chilliwack campus, ElderCollege is offered in partnership with UFV. Our mission is to provide adults over the age of 50 with access to educational and learning opportunities for the purpose of enriching life and expanding knowledge.
We feature a relaxed approach to learning!
- Lively, fun, stimulating sessions
- A participatory learning experience
- Short courses (maximum two hours per week for six weeks)
- No quizzes or grades
- No prerequisites except for some of the computer courses
Who can belong? What does it cost?
Anyone over 50 who wants to keep on learning can join ElderCollege. Our membership fee is $12 per year and expires on December 31. Please see the course descriptions for individual course fees. Some fees include the costs of supplies and bussing. Click here for registration information.
