We want to motivate all of our UFV employees to join the UFV Fitness Challenge this year and we have great incentives to get you out and active! In addition to organizing activities for you and your family to participate in, we also encourage you to get involved in your community fitness events. Peninsula Runners Special Announcment

Abbotsford Peninsula Runners is offering a Learn to Run Clinic.

If these terms sound like you, you may be interested in learning more about our Peninsula Runners Fall Running Clinic.  Our Run programs incorporate several technical aspects of running and challenges individuals with aerobic and anaerobic workouts.  Within the running programs, workouts are modified to meet everyone's ability.

There are many reasons for starting any exercise program.  Some want to relieve stress or lose weight, and others just want to enjoy the outdoors in a social group.  Our program design is specifically developed to assist individuals gain strength and running speed.   At Peninsula Runners we work hard to provide a safe, informative, FUN, motivating, and rewarding clinic atmosphere.

The clinic program is 12 weeks in duration. Meetings are once per week from Peninsula Runner’s Old Downtown Abby location on Thursday evenings from 6PM – 7PM. All participants receive a free technical Brooks running tee shirt and a 10% discount on all store merchandise for the duration of the entire clinic. The cost is only $59.99.
