WINNERS 2009 DEPARTMENT AWARDS

Each year, the department gives out three awards: a) the Canadian Association of Geography Award for the highest overall GPA of a graduating Geography Major; b) the American Association of Geography Award for a high GPA and good contribution to departmental life; and c) the Doug Nicol Memorial Award for a high GPA, and all round good performance in physical and human geography and departmental involvement.  Left to right respectively, congratulations to our 2009 winners Michelle Hooglund (CAG), Jared Legare (AAG) and Courtney Burnett (Doug Nicol).  For some more pix from the celebrations at the Rendezvous, click here.
