Karin Jager is an educator, designer and advocate for the design profession. As head of the Graphic and Digital Design program at the University of the Fraser Valley in Mission, British Columbia, she actively promotes experiential learning and connecting with the local community. She is engaged in professional communities serving the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) as VP Education National. Karin's research interests include an expansive study on design education in Canada. Previously, she was faculty at Capilano University where she taught design and actively contributed in a leadership capacity. Her professional practice specialized in corporate communication and information design.
