The University Foundation program is an advanced-level academic preparation program that combines English upgrading and academic credit courses. This program is designed to help you make the transition to full-time academic programs.
If you're a motivated student with good grades, you can progress quickly and complete up to five academic program courses as well as your UFV English Language requirement over two semesters.
At Level One, you can take one or two pre-college or university electives while completing your English upgrading, and two to three pre-college or university electives at Level Two. When you successfully complete the program, you qualify for a University Foundation Certificate.

If you are a serious university-vound student who has already studied advanced English, but need further preparation to succeed in the academic world, this program is for you.
When you complete level 1 of the ESL Academic Bridge Program, you earn an Advanced II certificate. If you complete level 2, you earn an Academic English Proficiency Certificate.
