As you may or may not know, the UFV Facilities department has undergone a number of changes this year.  Alan stokes retied back in April, as well as a few other members of the UFV facilities team, for example Tim LaBrash and Jim Strachan at CEP, and with that the department has seen some new folks join the Facilities department.

Mark Goudsblom joined as the new Director, and David Shayler returned to the position of Manager Janitorial Services after being with the FSA for 2 years, and we have also seen some changes in the auxiliary, part-time and full-time positions within Facilities.  On-top of these personnel changes, the department reorganized to include the project office formerly under the guidance of the Executive Director, Campus Planning Craig Toews.  The Facilities Services department has re-branded itself to become the “Facilities & Project Management”, and now reports directly to the CFO, Jackie Hogan.

To help establish and recognize the department’s new structure within the University community, we would like to invite you to a Facilities Social for some casual conversation and refreshments on November 21st from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

This informal gathering will allow for an opportunity to reconnect with the people you know, and engage with the new staff in a celebration of relationships and new beginnings.
