Financial Aid & Awards Mission Statement
The Financial Aid and Awards team promotes success and access to education for UFV’s diverse student population. We deliver a wide range of need-based financial supports and administer awards that recognize excellence.
Obtaining a post-secondary education requires a considerable financial investment. It is essential that students and their families plan for financing their education on both a short-term and long-term basis. This website provides valuable information and advice regarding sources of financial aid for students attending University of the Fraser Valley.
Every year, millions of dollars in federal and provincial loans, grants, bursaries, scholarships, and awards are processed and disbursed to UFV students through UFV's Financial Aid and Awards office.
Explore through our web pages for more information on these programs or please contact Financial Aid and Awards. We provide individualized advising for a variety of educational funding opportunities.
Submitting applications and documentation
A secure drop slot is available at our Abbotsford campus for application and document drop off. Please ensure your documents are together and in an envelope with your UFV Student number. The drop slot is located just past the Student Services doors (B214) under the Financial Aid & Awards info boards.
The Part-Time Studies Application is available online through a new student account at StudentAidBC.ca. A valid BC Services card and the BC Services app are required. Set up your BC Services Card App as soon as possible to avoid system issues and/or delays. Note: The old part-time paper applications are no longer available or accepted.
