How to apply to Workplace TASK

Apply to UFV

Complete the UFV Online Application.

NOTE: TASK students are not required to pay the $50.68 application fee.

Complete program forms

Download and fill out the TASK intake form. Submit your completed form by email to task@ufv.ca

Download the TASK References Form. We require two (2) references outside of your family. Instruct your chosen references to email their completed form to task@ufv.ca.

Apply for funding

Funding for the TASK program is available for those who qualify with the Adult Upgrading Grant through UFV's Financial Aid and Awards. Print and complete the Adult Upgrading Grant application form then mail it to the UFV Financial Aid Office at:

Book an interview

As part of the application process, you will need to attend a virtual or phone interview with the TASK program instructor to determine your suitability for the program. This is also a great chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the program.

To book an appointment please email task@ufv.ca or phone 604-702-2626.

If you are accepted into the TASK program, you will receive a letter from UFV's Office of the Registrar. The letter will include your student number. Once you have a student number, follow the next two steps.

Find your registration time

Look up your registration time by logging into myUFV. You will find your registration time under the "Student Information" link on the left. An email with your registration date and time will also be sent to your myUFV student email account. Remember to check myUFV regularly for important information.

Register for classes

Register for your classes: TASK 051, TASK 052, and TASK 053.

You can register:

  1. Online through your myUFV account;
  2. Over the phone by calling the Office of the Registrar (1-888-823-8734)
