Strengths & Skills Workshop: Everyone has knowledge and skills that they excel at. In this session we are going to focus on bringing our strengths into the spotlight rather than concentrating on which weaknesses we need to improve. Strength-based leadership and lifestyle can help you to put your best self forward- especially when making a big transition to a new university.

In this session you will think about what drives you, what is most important to you, and how you can use those values to your advantage while at UFV.
Why Goals Matter: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? This session will get you thinking about how you choose to invest your time in the present. This will help to evolve a focus of your aspirations and can guide the commitments you make and ways you spend your time.

Academic Matters at UFV: What is your AIM as a student? Do you want to be able to use your future degree in a meaningful way? We all think we know what plagiarism and cheating are, but what do these things actually mean? Come to our academic integrity workshop and learn strategies to maintain academic honesty, avoid misconduct, and further your own academic growth.

Budgeting Workshop: Are you trying to save up for a house, a car, or grad school? Don’t lose control of your finances! Come to this session and learn the basics of budgeting.
