New Student Orientation is designed to ease your transition as a high school student, transfer student, or mature student, to the life and culture at UFV.
Online registration for the New Student Orientation is now open! New students starting in September 2019 are welcome to sign-up. Please see the schedule below for more details.
1. GET THE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN FIRST YEAR
We want you to feel comfortable on campus and ready for classes! Our upper-year students will be leading you throughout the day and answering questions in student panels, and faculty and staff will be ready to help you too!
2. CONNECT WITH FACULTY AND STUDENTS IN YOUR PROGRAM
You will be placed in a team with other students from your faculty, led by an upper-year student Ambassador. Together, you will attend a faculty session to connect with your team and faculty.
3. GET YOUR CAMPUS CARD AND U-PASS
Your campus card and U-pass give you access to many services and resources at UFV, SUS, and the community. Learn more on September 3rd!
4. BECOME FAMILIAR WITH RESOURCES AT UFV AND IN THE FRASER VALLEY
At the UFV Midway, you’ll learn about opportunities to get involved on campus, as well as other organizations and services in the Fraser Valley. Win prizes, eat free food, play games and enjoy the DJ!
