You need to be enrolled in one or more courses in the Summer or Fall 2025 semester to attend your Day ONE orientation event.
Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect at UFV's First Week Feast event.
RSVP early to be entered to win prizes! Join us at First Week Feast for more fun prizes and giveaways!
Enjoy vibrant vibes with BBQ, live music, and good company! Kick back with friends and meet new ones from your faculty as you celebrate the start of your UFV journey.
Find out about the services and supports available to you, and get connected to UFV Student Clubs & Associations.
Activities take place in a covered, outdoor building on campus, so we recommend that you wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. There will be signage throughout the campus leading you to the space, but head south from Building A across and across the green.
Thinking about picking up your campus card or textbook order while you are on campus?
If you don't need your campus card or textbook order urgently, we suggest that you wait until a later date to avoid the lineups.
RSVP for Day One so we know to expect you and can send you useful updates about the event, including how to check-in on the day.
If you require accessibility or dietary accommodations, please RSVP at least 10 days in advance to allow the Orientation team enough time to meet your needs.

If you would like to make a change to your request or submit a new one, please email orientation@ufv.ca and our team will do our best to make arrangements to meet your needs.
During this event, you will be provided with snacks and goodies. The Orientation team works to provide a range of food options for varying dietary needs and restrictions.
Additional options for food purchase on campus include Tim Horton's, and the Fairgrounds cafe.
If you have dietary restrictions, simply indicate your food requirements in the online booking form when you RSVP to this event. Make sure to RSVP at least 10 days in advance to give us time to adapt our menu to best suit your needs.
On the day of the event, before coming to campus, please complete a Self-Assessment Health Check. If you are experiencing any covid symptoms, please choose to stay home.
