Meet the Team
Biography
Rose Morrison is emerita in the Agriculture Technology department at UFV, where she has held several positions. Although retired, she enjoys teaching a course occasionally.
Her areas of interest include soils, sustainable and holistic agriculture, food security, and agriculture and food policy.
She holds a Diploma in Agriculture, B.Sc. Agriculture where she majored in soil science, and M.Sc. Soil Science from the University of Manitoba.
Her enthusiasm for interdisciplinary study, plus her love of language, literature, and writing, recently led her to complete a B.A. (honours, English) degree at UFV.
"I went into the Agriculture Technology Diploma not knowing where I wanted to end up in the agriculture industry. UFV's courses on production animal nutrition and health sparked an interest in the feed industry for me."
