Queen Elizabeth Scholar Internship

The East African Internship Program offers funded internships to Kenya & Tanzania made possible by Queen Elizabeth Scholarships. Interns will get the chance to work along side an East African NGO, developing their skills and gaining new experience.

(GEOG 398, GDS 311, SOC 398, or INCS 390)


Indian Internship program with the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship offers students the chance to travel to India and work in conjunction with staff from UFV Chandigarh, as well as others from a local NGO, researching food security within the City.

*Please note: To qualify for the QES scholarship programs, students must be in the midst of completing their first degree, have a minimum GPA of 2.67 and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident between the ages of 19 and 35. Internships run for 10 weeks during the Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer Semesters.
