Housing Fee Information

Housing fee information points to take note of:

• Housing fees and the length of stay are subject to contract details, unless otherwise indicated.
• The Application Fee is non-refundable.
• The Room Offer Acceptance Fee (ROAF) is non-refundable. The Room Offer Acceptance Fee (ROAF) reserves your room in on-campus housing until the date provided (see Important Dates for Housing).
• There are no refunds after the move-in period begins, details are provided in the contract.
• Students with Academic Year housing contracts who wish to vacate for Winter semester must fill out an Early Check-Out Notification form or the second installment of fees will be forfeited. 
• Housing Operations works with the Campus Card office to administer the meal plan.
• Students who are on a student loan may apply for a Student Loan Deferral
• Limited underground parking is available for an extra cost of $220.00 per semester and can be applied for during the application process *fee subject to change.
• During the holiday break, UFV is officially closed. If a student wishes to stay in their room during this time, the student must complete a Housing Break Application. If granted, the fee is $225.00. Late applications will incur a $50.00 administration fee.
• International students: You can use Convera to pay in your local currency from your home bank account. Click here for more information. After making the wire transfer, please submit a request to transfer the funds to UFV Housing here.

Other Housing Fees information

• Fees are subject to change without prior notice.
• All rates include utilities (heat, hot water, hydro) and wifi internet connection
• Application fees, Campus Living Fees and Room Acceptance Fees (ROAF) are payable for EACH application/term or semester.
• Each semester's housing fees must be paid in full before move-in. Late payment fees will apply (except for students who are paying with student loans).
