Hazardous Waste Disposal 2017

Facilities Management is requesting that all departments currently requiring the disposal of hazardous waste materials for the New Year, to please complete the "Hazardous Waste Disposal Information Form" (fillable pdf form) and email to Adam Bodnar, Manager of Operations (Abbotsford B150R) no later than Friday April 28th, 2017.

The waste material forms will be compiled into a master list and sent to a qualified licensed hazardous waste removal contractor for review and acceptance.  Arrangements will then be made for the disposal of the waste materials.  Departments will be informed of the scheduled pick-up day once all submissions have been received and we have secured the waste disposal services through the Purchasing Department.

Please ensure that all waste materials are packaged according to safety standards as indicated by the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for that specific product.

Non-response by April 28th, 2017 will be interpreted as no requirement for the disposal of waste materials from the department.
