Getting ready to welcome you back on campus

UFV has been planning a safe and gradual return to campus for our community.

Health and well being are UFV’s number one priorities and the UFV plan proposes four scheduled steps that overlap with BC’s Restart plan but offer more room for flexibility, adaptation, and support. These steps and dates are based on the Restart plan, Public Health orders, and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training’s Return to Campus primer document and will continue to adapt should any of these guidelines change.

A safe and gradual return to campus

Step 1
June 15
Voluntary return: staff & academic support faculty
Step 2
July 12
50% return: staff & academic support faculty
Step 3
August 16
100% return: staff & academic support faculty
Step 4
September 7
100% return: teaching faculty

At every step, UFV will adhere to and align with the Public Health Office (PHO), WorkSafe BC, and Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training (AEST) guidelines and health and safety protocols.
