Prerequisite: Recommended: Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 6 or higher. Good skills in reading, writing, and verbal English are required for success in this course.

Gain a solid introduction to custodial and housekeeping operations through both theory and hands‑on practice. This course covers cleaning procedures for all types of surfaces, including the safe use of chemicals, waste handling, WHMIS requirements, and other essential safety practices.

Built on green cleaning standards from the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) and the LEED® Green Building Rating System, the program emphasizes environmentally responsible methods that meet today’s industry expectations.

Whether you’re looking to enter the custodial/cleaning industry or you’re a working custodian aiming to upgrade your skills, this course provides the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

(Work is done online in English). * Students must have a computer/laptop with reliable internet, as well as a working microphone and camera.
