Meet the team

Jeff has been a member of the UFV community since 2016, and part of the CHASI team since 2020. Combining experience in journalism and marketing with a background in media studies, he enjoys working behind the scenes amplifying the voices of advocates and activists. Equity and empathy are Jeff’s driving values, and he brings them into his academic, professional, and personal practices.

During his studies, Jeff worked multiple roles at UFV’s autonomous student newspaper, The Cascade, culminating with a semester as editor-in-chief. In his personal life, Jeff has written a few novels, played a lot of Dungeons and Dragons, and tried to be a good father to his pug Beans.
