This is your chance to meet other new UFV students, and ask your student tour guide about what it's like to study at UFV. Whether you're a brand new student at UFV, or you've been studying with us for a while, wayfinding tours will help you navigate the Abbotsford and Chilliwack UFV campuses with confidence!
How to book
As always, campus tours are offered to new and prospective students by the UFV Future Students office. Visit their webpage for more information on what to expect, and how you can request your tour today!
Get your Campus Card and U-pass the same day as your tour!
While you’re on campus for your tour, you may be able to get your Campus card (Student ID card) and u-pass sticker.
UFV Campus Card
If you are currently registered in at least 1 course for the Fall semester, and would like to get your campus card before the start of classes, you should plan to be photo ready, bring one piece of government photo ID, have your UFV student number ready. Check the campus card website to find out their hours of operation, and more information.
SUS U-pass
For students who plan on using BC Transit or municipal recreation centres in Abbotsford, Mission, and Chilliwack, you may also be able to get your u-pass sticker from the Student Union Society before the start of classes. Check the SUS u-pass website to find out their hours of operation, and more information.
Additional wayfinding resources
Can't make it to campus for a tour? Here are some wayfinding resources to help you get to know your way around campus!
- View a campus map
UFV has campus maps for each of its campus locations, including: Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Aggasiz, Clearbrook, and Mission.
- Watch a campus tour video
- Stop by an Ask-me station
Ask-me stations will be set up in various locations on UFV campuses during the first week of classes. Feel free to stop by and ask for directions, or talk to a student Orientation Ambassador about any of your UFV-related questions.
UFV is located in the traditional territory of the Stó:lō peoples, where Halq’améylem is spoken. The Halq’améylem word given to us for Student Orientation is Tl’etl’axel, which means "to invite people to gather in one community."
Visit our New Students page to learn more about the meaning behind the the Orienation logo, and Chantelle Trainor-Matties - the Indigenous graphic designer and UFV alum who created it.
