Just steps from the heart of campus, Lá:lem te Baker (pronounced la-lum) is original on-campus housing that features fully furnished private bedrooms with shared kitchenettes and bathrooms. Each floor includes community kitchens, study areas, and social spaces. It’s ideal for students who want a supportive, community-focused living experience close to classes and campus amenities. A great fit for first-year and international students.

The double suite offers two private, furnished bedrooms (Rooms A and B) with a shared kitchenette and bathroom (Room C). This layout is ideal for students seeking a balance of privacy and shared living.

At UFV Housing, you’ll have a private bedroom and share a bathroom with a suite mate. Use the Housing Portal to find one after accepting your room, signing your contract, and paying your ROAF fee. If you don’t choose by the deadline, we’ll assign one based on age, program, and lifestyle preferences.

Meal plans make eating on campus easy and affordable, with access to cafés, dining halls, and Tim Hortons, and are required for first-year housing students with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.
UFV Housing is walkable, bikeable, and well-connected. Step outside to reach campus buildings, dining, and transit in minutes. Enjoy secure bike storage, nearby bus stops, a free shuttle to the Chilliwack campus, and a weekly shopping shuttle for groceries and errands.

Yes! We use gender-inclusive housing practices to match roommates. Lá:léms Ye EverGreen also has gender-inclusive shared washrooms for singles.
Lá:lem te Baker offers doubles (shared two-bedroom suites). We are happy to discuss if these room types meet your needs, but we do not offer traditional family housing.
