At UFV Housing, you’re not just getting a place to live, you’re joining a community with built-in support, from CAs, Housing staff, counsellors, peers, and 24/7 assistance, so you can succeed, feel connected, and thrive.
Community Support
Community Assistants (CAs)
CAs are student leaders who live in UFV Housing. They are trained to:
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Mediate conflicts with roommates
- Connect you with campus resources
- Organize community events
- Respond to emergencies after business hours
Housing Desk Assistants (HDAs)
HDAs are students who are your first point of contact as a new housing student. They are information specialists who can:
- Support your move into housing
- Connect you with UFV services
- Help you manage mail, maintenance requests, and loan out supplies like cots, mops, and vacuums.

Support where you live
Our team helps connect you with campus services such as counselling, Student Support, and the Wellness Centre, and even brings some right to your building, including academic advising, career services, and library support.
