WEB SERVICES FOR STAFF | myUFV
In an effort to provide accessible web services to our employees, we encourage faculty and staff to use myUFV. Faculty and staff will enjoy several functions of myUFV including access to payment and tax information, email, and personal announcements.
For Faculty, myUFV
is UFV's new portal technology, offering access to class lists, waitlists, and grading functionality. These features may be found under "My UFV Records".
A home page is automatically created for each of your courses in the "My Courses" tab. Your students will have access to these course pages after registering. From the course home page, you can:
- Engage students in threaded discussions (similar to WebCT)
- Make available electronic files or links to course resources
- Email students (individually or as a group)
- Make use of many other practical features
As you prepare for the upcoming term, you may want to include a note in your course outline suggesting/requiring that your students actively use myUFV during the term. Note: All email sent from myUFV will be sent to the UFV student email address. Students can access their email through myUFV
For the near future, we will continue to support both myUFV and the Staff Web login. Use the same credentials (username/password) to log in to either.
