Access and joining meetings
You can access MS Teams through Brightspace, or the Teams App.
No, you can join from a web browser without the app, though using the app is recommended.
Yes. You will still be able to join external users Zoom meetings with a link.
Yes, you can send a link to anyone and have them join your Teams meetings.
Yes. You can create a meeting link that you can share with anyone you would like to attend.
Meetings and features
Yes. You can choose to create breakout rooms after a meeting has already started or you can pre-assign rooms before the meeting.
Yes. MS Teams has the same screen sharing capability.
Yes. In meeting controls you can choose "Turn on Live Captions"
Yes. After you enable attendance you can download the report after the meeting.
Recordings
Yes. When you record a meeting it will save inside your Teams chat and you can download it.
Yes. All attendees to a meeting will receive a notification of the finished recording and you are able to share the recordings to non-attendees as well.
