email MoeMoe Khaligh Razavi has a foundational background in veterinary medicine. A severe allergy to cats led him to change his career path and pursue the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2005.
He began his nursing career at Fraser Health Authority, progressing from an Employed Student Nurse (ESN) to a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) on a surgical unit. His leadership skills were recognized early on, prompting him to successfully complete several leadership courses. He later served as a Patient Care Coordinator on the Surgical and Medicine units at Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH).
In 2012, Moe moved to Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC), where he became a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Cardiac, Respiratory, and Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) units.
In 2019, Moe returned to UFV as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Practical Nursing Program. He achieved the rank of Associate Professor in 2024. That same year, he was appointed Program Head for the Health Care Assistant (HCA) and Health Career Access Program (HCAP), a leadership role he continues to fulfill alongside his teaching responsibilities in the Nursing program.
