Nursing

Fees and costs

Fees stated are subject to change and are calculated based on a fee-per-credit basis. Course credits for the nursing program are approximately 12–17 credits per semester. For details about semester credit loads, please see the program outline.

As a nursing student, you will also need to cover the costs of textbooks, uniforms, instruments, and other supplies. The majority of books and supplies are purchased in the first semester and additional textbooks will be required throughout the program.

Please note that parking fees are required at some clinical placement agencies.

Financial Assistance

As I finish my education and prepare for my preceptorship at UFV, this award allows me to commit myself entirely to the work ahead. Being supported in this way at this precise moment is a privilege I truly value. My hope is to one day offer this same steadying hand to a student coming up behind me and remind them that they are the newest link in an unbroken chain of care. The compassion we bring to our patients must always begin with the compassion we show one another.
