Student Graduate Scholarship Workshop

The Research Office is hosting a workshop for students who plan to apply for NSERC, SSHRC & CIHR scholarships for graduate school. Brad Whittaker, Director of Research Services, will give a presentation, go through an application step by step, and answer any questions.

Research Option & Scholarly Activity (ROSA) Workshop

Grant Writing Workshop
Each year the Research Office hosts a workshop where Brad Whittaker, Research Services & Industry Liaison, answers the question, "Why apply for a research grant?"
Participants receive tips on:
- Evaluating the funding source criteria
- Defining your purpose and objectives
- Writing your project summary
- Developing a manageable timeline
- Identifying potential outcomes, disseminations, and publications
