Access Code Problem Solving

Did you buy the wrong digital item? Email the Bookstore with this information:

  • Your first and last name
  • Email address used for redemption
  • Phone number
  • Code you originally received from UFV Bookstore 
  • Item# of the code purchased (located on your receipt)
  • Date, and Trans# of purchase (located on your receipt)
  • Class for which you need the code

Check your junk mailbox for the publisher product information email.  If it's not there, contact the Bookstore.

You must ask your instructor for this.


1) Check your spam/junk mailbox 

2) You may have entered your email address incorrectly.  This can only be fixed by Campus                               eBookstore support.  Email with your name, the incorrect                         email address and the correct email address.

Steps to access your Top Hat etext (book only with no course code):

  1. Go to:
  2. Click “Students with access keys click here” and select “student” before logging in or registering for an account **this is the most important step**
  3. Follow the prompts to create your student account
  4. “Continue without a Course Join Code”
  5. “Redeem Bookstore Access Key from the bookstore or purchase the etext directly
  6. Enter Access Code from the e-mail you received after redeeming your proof of purchase code
  7. Navigate to your etext using the information found here:
