What Is the Student Voice Forum?
The Student Voice Forum is a welcoming space where students can share their thoughts, experiences, and ideas to help shape the future of UFV. It’s part of a broader commitment to becoming a “Student Ready University,” which means creating an environment that truly listens to and supports students in every aspect of their journey.
Each month, students are invited to participate in conversations about topics that matter—whether it’s improving campus services, addressing barriers, or exploring new initiatives. These forums are designed to be predictable, easy to join, and meaningful. By gathering student input regularly, the university can make informed decisions that reflect the real needs and voices of its community.
Why Your Voice Matters
Your experiences as a student are valuable. Whether you’ve faced challenges or discovered opportunities, your insights help the university understand what’s working and what needs to change. The Student Voice Forum is a chance to speak up, be heard, and contribute to a more responsive and inclusive campus.
By participating, you’re helping reduce survey fatigue, making engagement more consistent, and ensuring that student feedback is part of the decision-making process.
How It Works
- One day each month is set aside for the forum.
- The day of the week changes monthly to welcome different student groups.
- Refreshments are provided, and the space is designed to be comfortable and open.
- No sessions are held in April, July, August, or December due to lower campus activity.
Upcoming Events
You’re invited! Join us at the next forum to share your feedback, engage with university leadership on key topics, and help shape the student experience.
