The Fall semester began on August 31 with a two-week intensive session with a limited set of courses available for students. More information is available here.
The regular semester begins on Monday, September 14 and goes until Friday, December 11. The final exam period will begin on Monday, December 14 and conclude on Monday, December 21.
- All students who are enrolled in a class with an on-campus component (e.g. a science lab) will be assessed the U-PASS fee. Students who are not automatically eligible for the U-PASS will be able to opt-in to the U-PASS program. You will be assessed $41.40 for the semester and be able to pick-up your U-PASS sticker and activate your student card 24 hours after submitting your request. Please complete the Opt-in form to be eligible for the U-PASS program.
** 1 - 2 Business days after you submit your request, go to the Student Union Building West entrance (Next to the Campus Card office) to pick up your Fall 2020 SUS U-PASS. You will receive a notification email once your opt-in has been processed. The U-PASS Distribution hours for the Fall 2020 semester are: Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- If you are new and require a student card, or have lost your card, or have an expired card, please visit the Campus Card Office website for information on how to get an ID card.
- The University of the Fraser Valley is looking forward to welcoming you to the Fall semester, but know that it is going to be a different experience. To help you get ready for your first day of class, we have launched a new, self-guided non-credit online orientation course for all UFV students, called Smart Start. Please visit the Smart Start Website to get started.
