The Housing & Campus Living Handbook is your guide to life in UFV Student Housing. It outlines the policies, expectations, and resources that support a safe, respectful, and inclusive community.
All students living in UFV Housing are expected to follow the Housing Contract and Handbook, as well as applicable Canadian laws.
Signing your contract
When you apply to UFV Housing and receive a room offer, your next step is to pay the non-refundable Room Offer Acceptance Fee (ROAF) through the Housing Portal.
After you pay your ROAF, your application status is updated (usually within 2 to 3 business days). This unlocks the next steps in the Housing Portal:
-
Sign your Housing Contract
A new page will appear in your application where you can review and sign your contract. -
Choose your roommate(s)
Once the contract is signed, the roommate selection step becomes available. -
Book your move-in appointment
After all required fees are paid in full, the portal will unlock your move-in scheduling tool.
By signing your contract, you confirm that you've reviewed the Handbook below and agree to follow its rules and guidelines. This contract outlines the formal obligations between you (the student) and the University of the Fraser Valley.
