Room Setup

Room set-up

The Facilities Management team is committed to supporting successful events on campus.

To request help with setting up and taking down materials for a special event, please submit an event support request.

Provide as much lead-time and detail as possible.

  • Confirmation that the room is reserved
  • Confirmation that materials are reserved; podiums, risers, banners etc.
  • Start and end dates and times for set-up and take down
  • Special instructions including space configuration and drawings. These can be uploaded in the work request.
  • Detailed list of services required i.e. janitorial and building maintenance

Note: A minimum of five business days' notice is required to schedule event support. Requests scheduled outside of regular operating hours may incur overtime costs and are subject to staff availability.
