Melinda Saretzky re-joined the Provost’s office in 2019 as the Executive Assistant to the Provost and VP, Academic.

Melinda has over 19 years of office administration experience, and has worked at UFV since 2011. She completed an eight-month term as the Acting Assistant to the Provost and VP Academic, and held a variety of positions such as: Committees Assistant for the Dean of Science office, Administrative Assistant for the Dean of Access and CE office, Administrative Assistant for the Advising Centre and as Department Assistant for the School of Social Work and Human Services. With Melinda’s experience and knowledge of UFV, she has a strong foundation of experience and skills that are valuable to the Provost’s office.

Melinda provides confidential support to the Provost and the Provost’s office, and the Academic Planning and Priorities, Faculty Standards, and the University Review Committees. She is a key contact on governance questions/issues and matters related to these committees/internal processes.
