Retirees' Association

Governance

The UFV Retirees’ Association is supported by the university and governed by a set of bylaws. The Association is guided by an elected board consisting of a minimum of seven and a maximum of eight directors, and includes the following positions:

  • President
  • Past-President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Directors at Large

Board volunteers may also be appointed at the discretion of the board.

To be eligible to serve, board members must be active members of the UFVRA. Following initial terms, Directors (excluding the Past President) are elected in staggered two-year terms at an Annual General Meeting.

Notice: The UFVRA bylaws are currently in draft form and under review. They will be posted here once finalized and approved at the AGM.

The UFVRA is governed by working set of bylaws. We are not incorporated as a society, so we use these bylaws as a guide. Any changes to the bylaws will be presented at the AGM.
