Tenure and promotion applications are reviewed by two committees: the Division Review Committee (DRC) and the University Review Committee (URC). Both committees provide recommendations to the President who makes the final decision. Appeals to negative recommendations from the URC are reviewed by the University Review Appeals Committee (URAC).
